What is the difference between the medical G-Shot and the surgical G-Shot?

The medical G-Shot is a hyaluronic acid injection performed in the clinic, simple and quick, whose effect generally lasts several months. The surgical G-Shot is a lipofilling procedure performed in the operating theatre, using your own fat harvested from another area of the body (most often the abdomen or the thighs), for a volume that lasts over time.

Is the result permanent?

With hyaluronic acid, the product is gradually absorbed and a top-up is planned according to the product used. With lipofilling, some of the injected fat is naturally reabsorbed; the remaining volume, usually stable after a few months, is considered long-lasting.

Can you move from the medical G-Shot to the surgical G-Shot?

Yes, this is a common progression for patients who are happy with the effect and would like a longer-lasting result.

When can normal activity be resumed?

After a hyaluronic acid injection, normal activity resumes immediately, and intercourse after 24 hours. After lipofilling, everyday activities are generally resumed within a few days, and intercourse after the period indicated during the consultation.
